On a sunny and breezy afternoon, I was transported to an oasis of nostalgia in the middle of the modern city. The 1980s décor had come alive in every corner, creating a unique and charming atmosphere that enveloped me in its cozy embrace.
On the main wall of the room, a set of psychedelic and eye-catching paintings hang on the wall, bringing with them the vibrant and colorful energy of that era. Bright colors and abstract patterns dance in harmony, capturing the essence of 80s pop art.
In front of the window, wooden stools with brightly colored legs in yellow, green, blue, and orange add a touch of fun and eclecticism to the room. The decorative plants of the period, such as the Sansevieria with their elongated, robust leaves, are strategically placed around the room. Some are in pots on the floor, others in pots hanging from the ceiling, creating a green and refreshing atmosphere that evokes nature indoors. And in the company of our pets who enjoy this pleasant stay together with us.
The centerpiece of the living area is a retro print sofa in shades of blue and grey, which contrasts harmoniously with the vibrant colors of the rest of the décor. Next to it, a footrest in the same shade offers additional comfort for those who wish to lie back and enjoy the calm of the space.
The array of retro elements, from the paintings to the furniture to the plants, blend to create a unique, relaxed aesthetic that invites you to travel back in time while enjoying the present. It is a room that breathes nostalgia and comfort, ideal for moments of tranquillity and reflection in modern life.
Creating a space where time seemed to stand still for a moment to enjoy the beauty and simplicity of life this wonderful environment of colors and patterns is created by Bambi with a fabulous set of 8f8 creations adding elements from other great designers such as Dust Bunny, Rezz room, Oh Deer and Mutresse.
