The Little Branch is participating in the May round of the Man Cave with the Acer Campestre Tree! The Man Cave is open from May 17th through June 11th.
This is a small, low-branched, dense, rounded, deciduous tree that makes a great street tree that casts dense shade. It is often called a Field Maple and is the UK’s only native maple. It is found growing in woods, scrub and hedgerows, and on chalk lowland. It is widely planted in gardens and parks due to its compact habit, tolerance of pollution and rich autumn colours.
