LTD DECOR: MINOR TOUCHES TO GIVE A NEW FEELING
By Editorial Clarity
There are always new stores opening up here and there and when I can, I like to add some of their items in our home, no matter how big or small the piece is.
Recently, REDGRAVE INTERIORS opened and there I found a great variety of accessories to add into our living space. I find adding new items once in a while can make a room feel almost new. So sometimes you do not have to break the bank when you feel like you need a change. Often just a few cosmetic tweaks do the trick!
I am one of those people that tend to change house a lot. At one time, I was driving my partner crazy because I wanted to change house every month or so. I would completely tear down our home and start from scratch…only to do the same thing a couple of weeks later! I have calmed down a bit now and learned to live with what we have and enjoy it. However I do get bored easily, so last night I decided to change some things up in our home. Nothing major, just some minor touches that give the room a new feeling and without having to spend a ton of Linden.
One thing I do love to do and have always done, is re use items that I purchased a while ago. I do not see why this is such a bad thing. You really do not have to buy something new every time you want to decorate. A lot can afford to do that but many do not have the budget nor time to do that.
What I did in this room was use some pillows I bought from THE LOFT a while ago. I like to get anything white, because I can easily re-colour it if needed. The pillows are also modify so I did both things with these. Adding the different colours gives a sense of new already. I also replaced some vases that were on the coffee table with some new pieces by APPLE FALL which are available now at the current round of THE CHAPTER FOUR. They are very inexpensive, copyable and they look great, so why not!
As I said, tiny changes like this can help bring a new life to a space, no matter how big or small. Anyway, that is my little post over with today. I hope you get a tiny bit of inspiration from it and I look forward to decorating again for you soon!
LOVE TO DECORATE!
